I was and still am thoroughly surprised by these shoes. As a broke student/professional who needed a reliable pair of shoes immediately, I bought these praying that they would suit my feet (I had a pair many years ago and remembered them being good, but the wrong size). They ended up not only fitting me well, but also hugging my foot in all the right ways. The extra padding underneath the heel is especially nice, helping the shoe hug the arch and relieve pressure from the heel. It takes some getting used to, but overall, these are great shoes. I definitely recommend buying several pairs at a time and rolatating them, because they aren't the most durable. Very good for rehearsal and class, and even shows if the canvas isn't too much of a distraction. I personally don't think the canvas is too distracting after the shoes are worn several time, but that's just me. They definitely look different, but I've had other dancers compliment on how comfortable they look, which is quite funny. I have a long, tapered, compressible foot, which allows me to be able to fit a wide range of sizes. I am about a size 8 1/2 - 9 with N/M width in street shoes. I also have bunions. The size I ordered was 38C, but I will also note that I use lambs wool as my primary padding, sometimes using a lambs wool toe pad in addition if my shoes feel loose or if my toes are hurting. Someone who uses a lot of padding or gel pads may want to consider this when choosing a size. Overall, I love these shoes and they may become my primary brand. They are similar to Suffolks/Bloch shoes in shaping, but aren't as bulky as either of them, which is really nice. Profile is about a medium. I definitely recommend giving these a shot, if not just because of the excellent pricing but also for how unique they are. I can't wait to try other brands of Fuzi shoes!

I was so happy to find the canvas Fuzi pointe shoe! It makes dancing on slicker surfaces less worrisome and they conform to my feet perfectly. They provide support and break in using hand-strength alone. They also last through many classes and rehearsals! Thanks for providing an inexpensive but reliable pointe shoe! I'll be ordering more! :)
